There is a difference between a Me conceit and an I concept, as they relate to communication. I will agree that it is very subtle. It may be, in fact, too subtle a difference for my wits to illustrate clearly, but I will try. Perhaps I may, if you will, create an analogy.
I see the Me conceit as a black hole, sucking up everything unto itself, whereas the the I is an explosion outward, from the center, forming cosmoses of ideas. The Me sees only self, the I looks outward. The I becomes, in a sense, a roving eye.
