100 Words-June 23, 2015

I’ve been invited to take part in a radio interview during the Pride Parade, Sunday. I was recommended by the Director of the Center on Halsted to a progressive radio station, here in Chicago, as a representative of the Senior gay community. I’m not sure why. There are others who have been far more active in the community than I have been. A part of me suggests that the offer was made to entice my attendance at the parade. The Director has always seems to want me more involved in the Community and works every angle to make it so.

About elrondsilvermaul

I never know what to say about myself. I let what I write try to speak as to who I am. I can only add, here, that I am 72, live in a nursing home, am twenty years a cancer survivor, and identify as a gay male. I intend to use this blog as storage for poems? written over the long years (and still being written). This does not preclude other uses.
